Tea staining occurs on stainless steel surfaces that are exposed to salty environments, and while this does not cause any structural damage to the stainless steel, it is not a pretty sight. If left untreated tea staining can result in irreversible damage to the surface and it will need to be replaced, which can be an expensive outcome. This however, will be avoided if treated early with Marine Stainless 2 in 1 prior to surface pitting occurring.
Marine Stainless 2 in 1 is an invisible, nanotechnology protective coating where the surface preparation is included with the protective solution. The coating will provide long term protection against tea staining and subsequent corrosion on all stainless steel surface finishes including brushed and polished, and its various grades, including 304 and 316 marine grade.
